Ford engine diagram - technical information
Ford engines OHV (OHV - Overhead valves) with a cam shaft established on three bearings, sideways in the engine basic block and a chain drive gear from a bent shaft. The gas distribution system is designed by a principle of a cross-section blowdown, i.e. the fuel blend moves in cylinders on the one hand the engine, and combustion materials leave on the other hand, through an exhaust system of the fulfilled gases. Inlet and outlet valves are put in action from a cam shaft through pushers and levers. The bent shaft is established on three bearings and balanced by balance weights. The axial backlash of a bent shaft is regulated by the persistent half rings established from two parties of the central main bearer.
