Transmission with synchro units on all drives for advance. The main drive shaft is executed as the uniform gear train (except a pinion gear of 5 drives), a secondary shaft completely the folding. Thanks to installation of two special lockwashers, one of which rests against a differential bearer outer race, resetting of a preliminary tightness of differential bearers is not required. Carter of a gear box is filled by durable lubricant and has no bleed holder for oil.

Automatic transmission Ford ATX (Automatic - Transaxle) has three drives of a forward stroke and one drive of a backing. Depending on position of the lever of switching of ranges of drives, speed of the car and position of a pedal of an accelerator it is provided mechanical or a twisting moment hydraulic drive on car driving wheels. In connection with the combined torque transfer slippage between elements of a transmission decreases and the efficiency that improves dynamic characteristics at fuel consumption drop increases. For substantial growth of speed of movement by overtakings or at movement on lifting there is a mode of compulsory inclusion of a hill-climbing gear (Kickdown) which is engaged by full pressing of a pedal of an accelerator and its deduction in this position. In this case the box or longer is on a hill-climbing gear, or is switched to a hill-climbing gear compulsorily.

Automatic transmission CTX (Continously Variable Transaxle) with smoothly changing reduction ratio on all speed range. The torque transfer from the engine on a leading shaft of a box is realised not through the converter, and through multidisk oil clutch. Smooth change of a reduction ratio is carried out by means of the steel tape consisting of the big number of elements in the form of scales. The tape transfers a twisting moment from a box main drive shaft to secondary, passing in in pairs located pulleys. For reception of a demanded reduction ratio pulleys by means of hydraulics or move one to another, or are moved apart, and the tape depending on it moves on a cone or to a pulley shaft, or to its external edge. As a result there is a reduction ratio change. The control package provides with a box an optimum reduction ratio for any mode of movement of the car with the maximum efficiency of the engine.
