Mazda engine L3 - a working volume of 2,3 l, the maximum capacity - 122 kw (166 h.p.) The maximum twisting moment - 207 Н·m, 214 km/h developing the maximum speed. Mazda engine L3 can be supplied by a turbo-compressor - system Sequential Valve Timing (S-VT). The turbo-compressor Mode of functioning consists that the turbo-compressor drive gear works thanks to energy of the burnt down fulfilled gases. The compressor consists of two axial wheels. The hot fulfilled gases get to the turbo-compressor case where untwist a working (first) wheel to a rotary speed of 100 000 mines-1. The driving wheel, in turn, untwists the second wheel which submits air to the compressor by means of a shaft and submits it to a combustion chamber. Hot air which has passed through a turbo-compressor is cooled in a radiator of soaked up air. Cooling also provides the big gain of capacity.
