Brake repair diagrams - for auto specific car brake repair information, troubleshooting charts and technical service bulletins...
Two cores independently working from each other braking system (a pedal brake and a handbrake) order Technical requirements to motor transport operation (stvzo). The base: if one system other system can always brake the car gives up and lower its capacity. The braking system of your car has the divided braking system - the separate brake circuit connects accordingly one front wheel and opposite on a diagonal a rear wheel: if one of circuits a front and rear wheel of other circuit provide braking process gives up. With only one active brake circuit you mondeo will stop considerably later, than usually. You will notice refusal of one of circuits, however, not only on the extended brake way, but also simultaneously on the increased course of a pedal of a brake and a burning control bulb on a dashboard. Antiblocking system (abs), an emergency braking system (eba), traction control system (tcs), electronic system of distribution of brake forces (ebd), the electronic program of stabilisation (esp). abs and tcs raise active safety of driving, ebd replaces a mechanical adjuster of a braking power and eba raises an initial braking pressure at emergency brake process.
brake repair diagrams - technical information
The hydraulic braking system of the car carries out braking of all wheels. Thus front brakes - disk with a floating buckle in which the braking power on a wheel develops one working cylinder. Rear brakes - drum-type type. Into structure of a working braking system enter: the main brake cylinder with the vacuum servo of a braking power and with an expansion chamber of hydraulic system; four wheel brake cylinders; rigid pipe ducts of hydraulic distributing to wheels; the flexible hoses bringing pressure to wheel cylinders. The caliper of a front brake fastens to a swivel member by means of two screws. The hydraulic pressure created by pressing a pedal of a brake, will be transformed by the hydraulic cylinder to a braking effort. This effort is in regular intervals distributed between external and internal brake blocks which nestle on a brake plate, forming a braking power.

Both brake blocks of drum-type brakes nestle on buckets of the wheel cylinder by means of the top and bottom coupling springs. The front brake block provides the basic braking power at wheel rotation in a front direction, rear - at wheel rotation back. The Braking power is transferred through a brake board on which pads fasten, to the rear suspension lever. Clearance adjustment between pads and a drum is made automatically and there is each time by pressing a brake pedal.

Brake gear disk: synchronously rotates with a bridge nave. Takes away warmth of a friction in atmosphere. A buckle of a disk brake gear: the floating buckle with a manual brake gear grasps a brake plate. For conveyance of a buckle from its inside there is accordingly a brake cylinder bucket.
Brake problems vary greatly with the make and model of a car, the age of the car and other variables. If your car is experiencing brake problems, bring it to a mechanic.
